About Corten steel

Corten develops a stable rust layer that protects the steel underneath, deepening in colour over the first few months outdoors. It is built to handle harsh Australian conditions and will last for many years without maintenance. Note that runoff during the initial weathering period can stain light-coloured surfaces such as render, pavers or timber decking — allow for this when positioning your sign.
