Corten Steel Goat Garden Stake
A characterful goat, laser cut from Corten steel and finished with fine detail through the horns, beard and coat. Push it into a garden bed, planter or lawn edge and it looks like it's been there for years.
Cut right here in Brisbane from 1.6mm Corten weathering steel — the same material used in architectural facades and public art. Corten forms a stable rust patina that protects the steel underneath, so it never needs painting, sealing or maintenance. It simply deepens in colour and gets better with age.

Why Corten

- Strong single-piece construction with a tapered spike for easy install
- Improves with age as the patina develops
Installation
Choose a spot with soft, workable soil. Push the tapered spike straight down until the T-bar sits flush with the ground. In hard or rocky soil, water the area first or start a pilot hole with a garden stake. Don't hammer directly on the animal — apply pressure to the T-bar.
A note on rust runoff: Corten sheds a small amount of rust colour in its first few months of weathering. Position away from light-coloured pavers, painted render or decking if staining is a concern.
